Mission Queensland Firebird Laura Geitz
AUSTRALIAN Netball Diamond and Mission Queensland Firebird Laura Geitz is set to share her skills with young netballers as part of the Laura Geitz Netball Clinics.
Laura will be joined by her fellow Queensland netball stars to provide six clinics in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast in the September School Holidays.
Participants will have a chance to pick up tips and learn some netball skills from the talented defender.
Geitz said she was looking forward to delivering the clinics and getting to meet her fans and give them some tips on how to become better netballers.
“There are so many keen young netballers in south east Queensland and the Laura Geitz Netball Clinics will give them a chance to hone their skills while having fun with friends,” Geitz said.
“It’s great to be able to share some tips with the next generation of netballers who could one day be part of the Mission Queensland Firebirds and even the Diamonds.”
The two-hour clinics provide a unique opportunity for young netballers to receive some invaluable training and tips from Laura Geitz and other elite netballers.
There is also a chance for participants to win some great prizes and get to know more about Laura.
The first clinic kicks off on Friday September 17 at Downey Park Netball Association, followed by sessions at Sunshine Coast Netball Association on Saturday, September 18 and finishing at Northern Gold Coast Netball Association on Sunday, September 19.
Each location will host two sessions, one for nine-11-year-olds and one for netballers aged 12-16.
The cost is $40 per participant and places are strictly limited.
