Romelda Aiken and Amy Steel

IT WILL be mate against mate when the Diamonds and Jamaican Sunshine Girls meet for the first game of the Holden Test Series this weekend.

Mission Queensland Firebirds Laura Geitz, Natalie Medhurst, Lauren Nourse and Amy Steel are part of the Diamond squad who will come up against the Sunshine Girls and fellow team mate Romelda Aiken.

There is the potential that both Geitz and Steel will be up against Aiken in the circle, while at the other end of the court, Romelda’s sister Nicole has the potential to be taking on fellow Firebird Natalie Medhurst.

The first game of the series will be held at the State Netball and Hockey Centre in Melbourne to a sold out crowd.

Queensland fans can watch all the action live on Network Ten from 3pm.

On Wednesday, August 11, the teams will meet again in Sydney with a delayed telecast starting at 11pm on Network Ten.

But those hungry to see the action live, still have a chance to watch the girls go head to head in the final game of the three match series against Jamaica at the Gold Coast on Sunday, August 15.

Limited tickets are still available for the game which will be telecast live on Network Ten from 3pm.
Tickets are also still available for the Sydney game via www.ticketdirect.com.au while tickets for the Gold Coast game can be purchased at www.ticketek.com.au
