EVER wonder what it’s like for the Mission Queensland Firebirds when they go into training camp?
Get the experience yourself with the ANZ FireUp! Camp.
This three-day camp offers the ultimate netball experience for keen netballers who want to get a taste for what the Mission Queensland Firebirds players go through to compete in the ANZ Championships.
Featuring specialized coaching sessions, conditioning sessions, nutrition workshops and personal interaction with the 2011 Mission Queensland Firebirds, the camp is the ultimate netball experience.
But it’s not all hard work, there is still time to have fun with some great games, activities and prizes to be won.
Running from Friday, December 10 to Sunday December 12 at Tallebudgera Recreation Centre, the camp is open to 13-16-year-olds.
Netball Queensland participation coordinator Ann-Marie Geary said places for the camp always fill quickly so people will need to get in quick to secure their place.
“The ANZ FireUp! Camp provides a unique experience to young netballers,” she said.
“Nowhere else will they be able to partake in a camp similar to the elite netballers from the ANZ Championship that they admire so much.
“Plus they will have the chance to personally interact with their favourite Mission Queensland Firebirds.”
The cost of the camp is $250 and includes two nights accommodation, all meals and bus transfers from Brisbane.
