HOW DO I APPLY FOR MY MEMBERSHIP?
In order to apply for a Mission Queensland Firebirds membership, please complete an online form or use a season membership brochure for both renewing and new members. Please note, memberships cannot be purchased from Ticketek outlets or via the phone. Memberships renewed or purchased by 31 December 2011, will be entitled to the Early Bird discounted pricing. Memberships can be purchased online or application forms can also be downloaded from the Mission Queensland Firebirds website www.firebirds.net.au or go to www.memberships.ticketek.com.au/firebirds

HOW DO I RENEW/BOOK MY MEMBERSHIP ONLINE?
You can now renew/book your membership and manage your personal details online.  The online membership service is available 24 hours a day. If you have any questions and wish to contact the Membership Hotline please call 1300 066 056 between the hours of 9am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

HOW DO I ARRANGE TO SIT WITH MY FRIENDS? New Members
This is known as a members group. Each member in the account gives permission for a single person to book and pay on behalf of the group for 2012. All members in the account are individually allocated a seat for the purpose of renewal in 2012. Each member will receive all correspondence in the mail.  All members’ details must be submitted together before the memberships will be processed.  Please note if you requested a seating link in 2010 and you’re a renewing member for 2012 you will need to re-confirm the names of your member group.

WHAT IS A SEATING LINK? New Members
If members wish to sit together, but pay separately for their seats they can request a seating link.  The seating link request must appear on the application form/online form of all accounts involved.  This request can be made in the appropriate space on the application form. It is important that members note the total number of people to be linked and therefore seated together from all accounts.  All forms must be returned together in order for a seating link to be created.

HOW DO I APPLY FOR DISABLED SEATING?
Members with a disability requiring consideration in regard to special needs seating, should include their specific seating requirements with their application form.  This should include the need for wheelchair seating and if required, a carer seat located adjacent to the person with the disability.

CAN I ORDER PAPER TICKETS TO ACCESS THE VENUE INSTEAD OF A MEMBERSHIP CARD?
Yes.  Paper tickets can be ordered on the application form and will be issued instead of a plastic member card.  Members can order a set of season paper tickets for a fee of $4.95 per seat.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY MEMBERSHIP?
The following forms of payment are accepted:

Credit cards: VISA, Mastercard, Amex and Diners Club.
Please note that all charges against credit cards will appear on your statement as a payment to Ticketek Pty Ltd, as they process the fees on behalf of the Mission Queensland Firebirds. 

Bank, personal and company cheques & money orders: Should be made out to Ticketek Pty Ltd.  All members paying by this method must write their full name and phone number on the back of the cheque or money order.

Debit cards:  Debit cards that act as a credit card are accepted where they are backed by VISA or Mastercard.  No other debit cards are accepted.

Cash: No cash payments.   

N.B. Eftpos is not an accepted payment method.

HOW WILL I KNOW IF MY MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION HAS BEEN RECEIVED?
Renewing members:  Members who renew online will automatically receive confirmation of their renewal application to their email account.  Members who renew by filling out the renewal form and are posting it to the Membership Department will receive a confirmation email if a valid email address has been provided. If members do not have a valid email address please contact the Memberships Department on 1300 066 056 for confirmation.

New members: Members who book online to become a 2012 Mission Queensland Firebirds Member will receive confirmation of their application to their email account.  Members who do not renew online and fill out the application form and send to the Membership Department will receive confirmation to their email account if a valid email has been provided.  Members who do not have an email address need to contact the Memberships Department on 1300 066 056 for confirmation.

WHEN WILL MY SEAT BE ALLOCATED AND MY PAYMENT BE TAKEN?
Note: If paying by Bank, Personal/Company Cheque or Money Order the cheque will be banked on receipt. Allocation of seat will be to the stipulated timetable.  Any difference in payment between requested order and what is ultimately allocated will be dealt with at time of seat allocation.
For Credit Cards the payment is taken at time of seat allocation as per the stipulated timetable.

Renewing Members
Same seat renewals – if you are keeping your existing 2011 seat, your allocation and payment will commence from 23 November 2011.
If you are relocating, upgrading or adding to your existing 2011 Memberships your seat allocation and payment will commence after same seat renewals have been processed. The same seat renewal guarantee period closes effective close of business Friday 6th December, 2011.

New Members
New Members seat allocation and payments will commence after the renewing members have been finalised, possibly early 2012 for allocations and payments. 

Seating Allocation Order
Seat allocation will be made in the following order:
1.  Renewing members who are renewing the same seat as their 2011 season seat/s.
2.  Renewing members who are have requested to relocate/add/upgrade their current membership.
3.  2012 new members.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY MEMBERSHIP PACK?
Membership packs can be collected from the Mission Queensland Firebirds Offices from Mid March 2012. They will also be available for collection from the 2012 Firebirds Fan Day for those who register their attendance and willingness to collect their pack.  Members will be contacted by email upon confirmation of the Fan Day date and time – this information will also be posted on www.firebirds.net.au.  Packs will also be available to be collected from the Firebirds Home Games at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.

WHAT IF I WANT MY FRIENDS TO COLLECT MY PACK FOR ME?
You will need to email firebirds@netballq.org.au and let us know who will be collecting your pack on your behalf.

IS MY MEMBERSHIP TRANSFERABLE?
Yes; for the 2012 season the membership is transferable.  If a member is unable to attend a match the membership may be given to a friend/relative for use.  Please be aware that entry to the stadium will be subject to the category of the membership (e.g. an adult will not be admitted with a junior membership pass).

HOW DO I REPLACE MY MEMBERSHIP CARD IF ITS IS LOST OR STOLEN?
You will need to contact the Mission Queensland Firebirds Membership Department to arrange a replacement card on 1300 066 056.  The barcode of the original card will be cancelled and a new card will be issued.  If there are sufficient games remaining in the season a replacement card will be supplied, alternately paper tickets will be supplied.  A fee of $20.00 applies for the replacement of each lost/stolen card.

IF I LEAVE MY CARD AT HOME CAN I STILL ACCESS THE VENUE?
Yes the member will need to visit the Ticketek Counter at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre and present photo identification.  A replacement ticket will be issued for the card for that particular game. The member card will still remain valid for all other games in the season.

HOW DO I PURCHASE EXTRA HOME GAME TICKETS?
Extra home game tickets must be purchased through Ticketek.  Visit the Mission Queensland Firebirds website at www.firebirds.net.au and follow the links or call Ticketek on 132 849.  We cannot guarantee that one off home game tickets will be available near the member’s usual seat(s).

HOW DO I PURCHASE TICKETS FOR MISSION QUEENSLAND FIREBIRDS AWAY GAMES?

HOW DO I GET TO HOME GAMES?
Members commuting to and from Mission Queensland Firebirds home games at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre are not granted free public transport. For information on how to get to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre should visit www.bcec.com.au

Members commuting to and from Mission Queensland Firebird home game held at the Gold Coast Convention &  Exhibition Centre are not granted free public transport.  For information on how to get the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre should visit www.gccec.com.au

WHO DO I CONTACT IF I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT MY MEMBERSHIP?
The Mission Queensland Firebirds Membership Department on 1300 066 056.

The hotline is open from 9.00am until 4:30 pm on business days.  It is not operational on weekends or public holidays.

For ticketing queries on game day, members will need to go to the Ticketek Counter at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre after gates open.

DOES MY MEMBERSHIP GRANT ME ACCESS TO ANY HOME FINALS?
Please note that ticketing for the ANZ Championship Finals Series is managed by TTNL Ltd, and as such, Finals tickets are not included as part of your membership package.  As part of our agreement with TTNL, we will work closely to ensure you as a member of the Firebirds receive preferential ticket purchase arrangements.  Please note that this cannot always be guaranteed however will use our best endeavors to get the best outcome for you as our dedicated fans.

Information regarding member ticketing arrangement for 2012 ANZ Championship Finals Series will be communicated to you as soon as the Finals Draw is finalised.

Please note you must have purchased your membership prior to the Firebirds’ last home match to access priority finals ticketing.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.  2011 Members wishing to renew their memberships for 2012 have an exclusive renewal period until close of business on Friday 6 December 2011. After this time, new members will be allocated the next best available seating.

2.  All prices included in the membership brochure are inclusive of GST.

3.  Payment made by Bank, Personal/Company Cheque or Money Order
Cheque payments will be banked on receipt.  Allocation of seat will be to the stipulated timetable.  Any difference in payment between requested order and what is ultimately allocated will be dealt with at time of seat Allocation.  For Credit cards the payment is taken at time of seat allocation as per the stipulated timetable.

4.  Dishonoured Credit Card Payments:
If a credit card payment is declined by the bank, the member will be contacted regarding an alternate form of payment. If the further payment option is not successful the order will be removed from the seating allocation queue and referred to the Mission Queensland Firebirds Membership Manager.  Part Payments that decline will be applied at the time of the next Part Payment.

5.  Dishonoured Cheque Payments:
If a cheque is dishonoured, the member will be contacted for a further form of payment.  All dishonoured cheques will incur an immediate fee of $20 as these fees are applied by the bank.  If the further payment option is not successful the order will be removed from the seating allocation queue and referred to the Mission Queensland Firebirds Membership Manager.

6.  Member Since Status:
On becoming a member with the Mission Queensland Firebirds the date of when the membership was first purchased is recorded against the members account.  When seating is being allocated the “Member Since Status” will be taken into account.  Long standing members will be allocated their seats prior to new members based on each member’s “Member Since Status”.

7.  Junior and Concession Membership
Junior: to qualify as a junior the applicant must be 12 years or younger on February 21, 2012.  Children under 4 years of age on this date may enter the venue for free, but must be seated on the lap of an accompanying adult.

Concession: Concession memberships may be purchased by persons holding a current Seniors card, Pensioners card or Full Time Student card.  Please note that Health Care cards are not accepted as a form of concession.  It is a condition of concession purchases that the applicant agrees to present their concession ID upon entry to the venue, if requested.

8.  Members should be aware that there is legislation in Queensland relating to the resale of tickets at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre/Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre and breach of these laws may attract criminal penalties.

9.  All members must take responsibility for updating all personal details, so the Mission Queensland Firebirds can communicate effectively with them. The Mission Queensland Firebirds hold no responsibility for member’s failure to update their personal details.  To update your personal details please log onto the Member site via www.firebirds.net.au or call the Membership Hotline 1300 066 056.

10.  The 10% discount on Official Mission Queensland Firebirds Merchandise at the Aussie Netball Shop is available to members on presentation of the member card or member paper tickets. This offer is not redeemable for cash and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

11.  Member’s privacy is important to the Mission Queensland Firebirds and we have procedures in place to ensure that your information remains confidential.  We are mindful that member’s personal details are private and as such, we will only disclose member’s information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.  Members may access their private information held on our database by contacting the Membership Hotline.  Members have the right at any time to refuse to receive marketing material.  A copy of the Mission Queensland Firebirds Privacy Policy explaining the way member’s information is collected held and disclosed is available on our website at www.firebirds.net.au or can be obtained by contacting the Membership Hotline 1300 066 056.
