The 2018 Suncorp Super Netball draw has been revealed, with the Lorna Jane Queensland Firebirds to open their season with a blockbuster away clash against New South Wales Swifts on Sunday 29 April.
Queensland’s first home match – the first of seven for the season – is scheduled for round two against defending champions and local rivals Sunshine Coast Lightning at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Sunday 6 May.
Firebirds games will start at 1pm or 3pm timeslots across 13 of the 14 rounds, leaving the round 12 away clash at 9pm (Qld time) v West Coast Fever as the only night fixture.
Two Suncorp Super Netball games will be aired live on Channel Nine per week, with two games per week to be aired live on Telstra TV.
Season membership for the Firebirds 2018 season will go on sale in November. Existing members will have the opportunity to renew their same seats during a member-only renewal period in late October.
The 2018 season will see more Platinum seating available for members, the addition of an active fan zone – The Birdcage – plus a new VIP Experience membership, which will provide a fully feathered game day experience.
Memberships will be easier on the wallet than ever with the introduction of a new budget-friendly Bronze Reserved membership, along with the ability to streamline your purchase through our new payment plan options.
Firebirds fans who cannot attend games can still be a part of the purple squad with a non-ticketed Firefan membership. You will receive an official membership card, Firebirds scarf, priority access to finals tickets and a heap of additional exclusive goodies for only $30.
