Isabelle Shearer

A training partner with the Firebirds last year, rising star Shearer is heading into her first Suncorp Super Netball campaign as a fulltime member of the squad.

The 21-year-old Rockhampton product was an injury replacement player for the Queensland 19 and Unders and Sapphires in 2022 before joining the Firebirds as a training partner ahead of the 2023 season.

After a year spent learning under the tutelage of Firebirds Head Coach and former Diamonds defender Bec Bulley, Shearer is now set to continue her progression alongside Ruby Bakewell-Doran and Remi Kamo in 2024.

Tall and mobile, Shearer uses her reach and athleticism to provide a stiff challenge for attackers.
